Diamond Dealbook is run by Michael Brown for parents navigating youth baseball and softball gear decisions. It exists because buying for a growing player can get expensive fast—and marketing language, changing rules, and endless product choices do not make that easier.
Our guides are designed to help families compare equipment with a practical plan: understand league requirements, focus on player fit and budget, know what to inspect before buying used, and prepare for a season without loading the car with unnecessary gear.
